I can't imagine Gruden redesigned all his passing plays...so it's Smith. Either he just isn't comfortable enough in the offense to run it efficiently, or he simply doesn't trust the WRs and TEs to throw on time. How often is he throwing a receiver open? Whoever he throws to, is usually just waiting on the ball. It's rare for any of WRs to catch a ball in stride where they can get any yards after a catch.

It just doesn't look right...Alex has to shoulder some blame (tape and QBR says so), but the scheme just seems so limited. Poor decisions at Receiving personnel (Doctson is a bust, Richardson has brought very little, etc)....Matt Cavanaugh is our O Coordinator...we rarely mention his name...seems likely he will be made a scapegoat.

Its a mess folks.

I tried saying this would happen when we signed him, they thought he could be a reliable deep threat and he never did shit in Seattle lol. So dumb of a move IMO. He'll be cut in 2 years

I'm really concerned about the health of the line. Scherff, I'm guessing, is a torn pectoral and done for the year. Lauvao is likely a knee or torn calf, done for year. And Moses is going to be hobbled.

It's hard being optimistic going forward when the strength of our offense was just ripped out from under us. It's really hard to see Peterson having any room to run with Scherff and Trent sidelined.

If this is the case we might as well throw in the towel, he has been our best lineman all yr, even above trent.

Yeah the OL right now is a huge concern. Amazing how quickly things blew up.

According to JP Finlay, Scherff’s injury was due to cheap shot by the falcons to the point were Reed was yelling at the falcon bench. I want fucking payback.

Smith is a QB that needs a running game and he needs more weapons. He’s never been a guy that can beat you dropping back 40 times a game. We had that guy and didn’t want to pay him so here we are.

Just seems like a bad fit for the offense. Im so sick and fucking tired of this organization and its QB choices.

No one in the front office seems to think it out, all reactive and nothing proactive

You make a fuckboy trade for D McNabb, Shanny and Son never wanted

You trade a ridiculous amount of picks for RG3 who the HC and OC never fucking wanted. They take their guy Cousins later

You don't pay the best QB Danny had in his tenure...

You then trade Fuller (Guess what folks, he's ballin now after a slow start) for Alex Smith and as a topper sign to a ridiculous extension for a 33 year old QB who not even a fit for the offense.

Meanwhile....we've never drafted a young QB to groom...we got nothing on the bench.

They have done a great job building the defense from what it was a few years ago but the offense has been absent, even last yr it was only avg at best.

It seems that we cannot do both at the same time. During the Saints/Rams game they talked about how well the Saints have transformed that awful D they had to something formidable while still adding players to the offense to keep it rolling. That must be nice to have.

Well it is easy when you have a QB like Brees that will make an opposing team one dimensional on offense. The defense doesn't have to be perfect but you don't want to get into a trade off of TDs vs FGs with NO. A good QB is a great defensive weapon puts too much pressure on the opposing team.
