i think you make some valid points although some of them make no sense maybe it is because your stream of consciousness is coming out all at once and making my head hurt on the other hand i could just take some aspirin but maybe i should listen to tom cruise and scientology and just go herbal

Re: Thank T.O for the W

Just a quick thought though did the Eagles not also win 2 playoff games to get them to the superbowl sans Owens last year and when TO did play did he really give them that extra edge?

I would be more worried that McNabb looked like he was getting his legs back but then that could be because we had nothing to throw at him from the D line or front 7 in general .

I predict Dallas should win this one the Eagles just aint the same this time around .

Re: Thank T.O for the W

The Eagles are good without him and really good with him. Honestly, I'd almost say the difference is marginal because without TO the Eagles are forced to use their other weapons.

I mean before TO got there, HOW MANY NFC Championship games were they in? It's not like he was the missing link.

You will be able to thank him in person because I think the skins will pick him up.

Even Lenny P. said TO won't end up in D.C., he said look for him in Denver, Miami or New Orleans.

Gibbs and TO? No way.

Hmmm, I can't see Saban putting up with that shit either. New Orleans is getting a bit dysfunctional. I can see him there.

You rip Lenny P weekly for being an idiot and now he knows what he's talking about?!

I think Gibbs success in getting LA with the program would give Gibbs even more confidence that he could get TO to work in the framework of what he's doing. Gibbs is first and foremost a people person and he (better than maybe anyone in the nfl) would know how to handle TO's temper tantrums. Also Gibbs sees a guy in trouble and knows he can help TO and the skins become better. I think the probability of this happening is low but just remember where you heard it first (just like my PR getting benched prediction).

It's insulting to put LaVar and TO in the same breath. LaVar is an emotional guy and TO is flat out a JACKASS. That aside, where is this money going to come from, osmosis?

What are we talking about here? There is no way Gibbs would put up with TO.

With Gibbs its the TEAM first....no individuals. Gibbs preaches playing as one team, winning and losing together.

If you know anything about Gibbs, you would know that he wouldn't waste his time with a guy like TO.

Gibbs has put up with Sean Taylor's tumultious off season where he was not exactly a team first guy. Gibbs understood how to work with ST to get him to become the team player he seems to have become. Gibbs is the best at handling this type of troubled player.

I think if one knows anything about Gibbs, TO is just the kind of guy he would love to be able to work with and win a championship.

Re: Thank T.O for the W

Thing is, T.O. probably would not have made it past the 2nd quarter. I'm pretty certain Mr. Arrington and Mr. Taylor would have been eager to take care of business.

And as for T.O. in the Redskin locker room? Ha ha ha ha ha ha. 52 other guys would have shut him up long ago.

There's a difference between being young and immature and being an egomaniacal head case. Not only that, I feel as though TO falls into the category of teaching an old dog new tricks.

Re: Thank T.O for the W

If you recall, TO was not a problem last year and gave 110% and played hurt in the super bowl. I'm not suggesting the skins sign TO to a long term deal (thats when the problems happen) but I am certain that if the skins bring TO in for the remaining 8 games and pay him what he wants (this whole fuss with philly is only about the $) the skins instantly become the favorite to represent the NFC in the super bowl. The skins are close, TO makes them a real powerhouse, its worth taking a shot with TO.

Exactly. We may have some characters in our locker room, but theres no way you can compare them to TO.

TO constantly called out McNabb.

TO called out the organization's class. You don't shit where you eat, and he's done that everywhere he's gone.

And where the hell are we going to find money to pay TO?
