Our team was excited to show what it could do early in the season but once contact started and injuries mounted, they have wilted. That's a culture issue. The coaching staff is responsible for that first and foremost.

You have to make the coaching change to a hard ass, pronto. But I wouldn't cut every player. Maybe a few, especially those who don't represent a culture of toughness. Reed would have to be on that list for me. I want a coach who emphasizes that the most important ability is availability.
Injuries are hard to judge based on the severity but I agree on the fact this team is soft as fuck, and it starts with coaching. Jay is a easy going players coach and this is what happens when u have that run a team.

As for talent,

We have a solid OL (Just need a LG).

RB's are ok, especially if Guice is the real deal.

WR's = GARBAGE and we need at least 2 starters there.

TE = Garbage , same as WR.

OLB needs an upgrade, Smith needs to go. Not worth what he will ask for.

Need a true FS, HHCD is too slow back there.

CB is ok but need a true #1 JNO is not that guy anymore.

Overall a new HC and QB could boost the team starting in 2019, but if they keep Jay around the team is going to be the same

I think a lot of issues stem from coaching, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

If Dan Snyder doesn't either fire or demote Bruce Allen and let's this nonsense continue then it means Snyder is the stupidest nfl owner of all time....he can fire Norv and Marty but not Bruce...he just might be this dumb.

One player that either needs to be demoted, traded or cut, Morgan Moses.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

The team needs to address injuries.
You can't bring in guys like Reed, Thompson, and Lauvao and bitch about those guys breaking down.
I'm a bit surprised Reed lasted this long but then again they didnt utilize him very much.

If Allen/Williams/Gruden addressed the issues at LG then the line shuffle wouldn't have been as bad when Scherff went down and we might still have our QB starting. They are fools for hoping Lauvao would hold up a full season.

We also need to address the aging players that are breaking down, Moses and Trent.
These guys are warriors but we need to factor their availability in next years roster decisions.

Don't forget the high dollar signing of WR Paul Richardson Jr.
A player that has a history of injuries. Out of his five season in the NFL, he has only one season where he started more than 10 games and in that season 2017 and he still missed two games. The guy has more Injured reserve season than not. But our FO thought it was a good idea to throw him millions of dollars. Allen needs to go!

I know people are constantly down on Doctson and rightfully so, but I do think he's picked up his play as of late. He's got one year left to prove it. Regardless WR is still a big need.

Really an eye opener. Completely on the front office and ownership. Shoulda built the team around cousins when we had the chance. Fatal mistake.

He was better than Foster. I don’t blame him. I’m glad he got out though I feel like leaving the Skins is like the freedom of a job that you absolutely detest.

This reminded me of something I read on Deadspin during the summer. Thought it was hilarious. https://deadspin.com/why-your-team-s...ins-1828326322

The fan comment from Spencer was what I thought was funny. I also liked the fan comment from Jesse. Fun read if you need to laugh at the Redskins right now.
