I will be totally shocked if Gruden is the coach in 2019, unless Allen stays and unless the 'skins somehow make it into the playoffs with butt fumble.

Imagine what Snyder is thinking watching McVay in LA, and how well Cousins is doing in Minnesota. He has to be looking at Allen and Gruden and realizing he got stuck with garbage

IDK Allen was his choice. Cousins was not his favorite. Plus it is not like he could keep McVay. Anything he was "stuck" with was his choice.

Cousins isn't playing up to his contract so far

I heard someone say Cousins, lol.
71% completion , 3500 yards, 23 td’s and 9 picks , with a 100 qbr. Id say Minnesotas run game has been a huge problem - almost last in the league. Yet another year where his offense struggles to run the ball - like it did here- and teams know they are one dimensional yet he puts up insane numbers. Some guys just never get credit lol.

their offensive Cor has been a problem....but Cousins does have a TO problem and has floundered on the bigger stage

but your right...he's been decent enough to win imo

I like KC but 6-5-1 for a top tier QB with a good defense? Not worth the 83 million.

Look at his two losses vs rams n saints - id call them big stages. He had one pick against the Saints and was lights out against Rams. Zero run. Zero D. Chicago got to him but they are a damn good D - were than. Foxboro is off limits in December. He has been plagued with porous run games his entire career- that makes it extremely difficult to do what he does in the air but he does it anyway. Never had any semblance of a d in Washington. A guy shouldn’t always have that sort of pressure to win games with no run and no D, so of course he is going to have some turnovers in big spots because the other team always knows what is coming. He has had a lot of game winning drives too even under that duress. If he was ever on a team that was actually well balanced he would be as good as it gets.

Add in his fumbles, and end of game/half stalled drives. It's not just stats, its about his game play, and always has been

Add in no run game, o line, or D for the majority of his career with us. I know it isn’t just about stats.
