I do think it will happen at some point. He obviously wants to become OC at some point. Don't know if it'll be know though... Wait and see is all we can do I guess...

Cooley is in a very unique position.

He is highly intelligent and has gained experience in two very different but very successful offensive systems. (Gibbs and Shanny).

Idk, maybe it's just me but there's a difference between knowing the game and being able to teach others the game. The former is being a great player and the latter is being a great coach.

Just to use the most recent example that comes to mind, Adam Oates was a HOFer for the Caps, by all accounts knew the game, but he was absolutely atrocious as a coach.
