Yup

I worked 7 years at a Supermarket while going to college

And for 2 years now, in addition to my Full Time job as a Gov't contractor, I am working a Part Time job in Assisted Sales of EPSON products.

While I seem to be good at selling stuff to John Q Public, there are days where I don't feel like talking to John Q Public, but I have no choice.

Sometimes it sux being a Responsable Adult!

Was talking to my Sister who works at a school in NJ and she told me about this and I think it's great! It should be mandatory in every school in the Nation!

Acting Gov. Sheila Oliver signed a law last Thursday that mandates the state Board of Education include financial literacy instruction in the curriculum for sixth- through eighth-grade students in public schools across New Jersey.

I totally agree!

There are WAY too many young people that have no idea how to manage their finances!

Even my wife and I had a lot to learn about home buying this past spring, and we are both in our 40s.

Any financial education that can be offered to young people is a good idea
