Re: House Cleaning put on hold....
.@SheehanPodcast: Todd Bowles's "interview" w #Redskins included "Doug Williams only… And in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Doug Williams didn't have some thoughts about heading with Bowles to Tampa himself. And I'll leave that one alone for now."

If I were the Redskins, I wouldn't care if he did. As a quarterback, Doug Williams is a legend. As a front office guy, I don't even know if I'd call him mediocre. He's always struck me as a competent scout who was elevated to a senior executive role here to placate fans in aftermath of the Mcloughan debacle. I understand that he has been put in an awkward positions by the front office at times, but his comments to the media have ranged from bumbling to embarrassing to downright inexcusable. His remarks minimizing domestic violence in the aftermath of the Foster signing would have gotten him fired from a better organization (of course, those better organizations would not have claimed Foster in the first place (which they didn't)). If Williams wants to move to Tampa, I'd buy his luggage, pack his bags, and drive him to the airport.
