i think we misuse patten he is extremely fast
he should be runnin qiuck slants right across the middle and his speed is one of the reasons brunnel may be having trouble connecting with him and why defences feel the need to cause interferences, well see i think you guys give him farless credit then he deserves |

You hit it on the head, he's very good on crossing patterns where he can run away from the defender. As far as Patten stopping and waiting for the ball on comeback routes, Gibbs has been useing that play forever, Art Monk made a living on those type of routes, the problem is you really should have a big physical reciever who can body up on the defender, we really don't have that right now. |

Moss is faster than Patten. And Brunell has no problems hitting him with passes. Personally, I'm not impressed with Patten. I've seen Patten drop way too many passes for a veteran.
