3rd STRING QB?

Mark Rypien and Stan Humphries were at one point 3rd string QB's for Gibbs. They were two very different style of QB's.
Gibbs will evaluate all the QB's and decide right before September. Our 3rd string QB might not even be on the roster yet. Gibbs aquired Doug Williams late in the preseason in 1986 or 1987. In 1987 Gibbs benched Jay Schroeder in midseason and replaced him with Doug Williams and we won the Superbowl that year. So for all you rabid die-hard Ramsey fans, don't worry. Gibbs will play which ever QB is playing well. Regardless of who is making how much money.
