Re: Josh Rosen Trade Rumors: Redskins Have 'Openly' Discussed QB If Made Available
Per JPFINLAY " The Redskins are planning to make a huge splash at QB , even trading up for Kyler Murray like they did for RG3, If the Cards take Murray they are going hard after Rosen"
So there you have it folks, it's Murray or Rosen for the skins

We're not trading up for the 1st pick. Doug Williams has pretty much already said so. Finlay is just running his mouth for attention.

I trust Keim more and he says we are interested in Murray of course but it's very unlikely. So I'm sticking with Rosen or Lock

JP isn't saying a trade up to #1, he said some sources think "Washington would try a big move into the Top 5 to select Murray if the Cardinals don't take him at No. 1"

Yep which in my opinion is worth the trade up, I'd give a 2020 1st for Murray

Re: Josh Rosen Trade Rumors: Redskins Have 'Openly' Discussed QB If Made Available
"Some sources" could be the guy that cleans the locker room. William's flat out said that giving up a lot of picks to move up would not be what the Redskins are looking to do. Making a move for Murray would mean unloading a lot of draft picks. Murray ain't coming here.
Still don't get the love for Murray. He had one good year against scrub defenses. When he played a real one he was so so and at times looked bad. |

I think a trade into the top 5 is unlikely, but Williams and Gruden have both emphasized the importance of addressing QB and there is a feeling out there the Skins could be aggressive this offseason. JP doesn’t blow smoke.

Like I said before, last year we all knew DT and RB were big issues, so they addressed both.. There is no way this team passes on Rosen if he's available

This price seems to high to me...
"Kadar believes that Washington and Arizona will conduct a trade sending their 2018 first-round selection, quarterback Josh Rosen, to Washington for the 15th, and 65th overall picks in this years' draft." https://www.redskins.com/news/2019-m...-the-cardinals |

So if I am reading that correctly, we would get Rosen and the #65 and they take #15? Pass.....

I agree. This is a deep draft and there will be blue chip talent at 15. Rosen is still a big question mark. I am hearing teams are inquiring about Rosen, but there is not a bidding war. We need to pump the brakes and not over pay for Rosen. We should not be desperate.

I think the slow ticket sales last year put them firmly back in the mode of trying to be offseason champs. If that comes in the form of trading two high picks for Rosen (it wont) then we’ll know they’ve come full circle to retard mode. If they pull off an aggressive offseason with sensible use of resources then they may actually bring back the fans and save Gruden’s job. We’ll see which it is. They could screw the pooch in a lot of ways besides overpaying for Rosen.

I agree. I think the fact that redskins.com is posting a story that we’re trading a 1st and 3rd for Rosen is to accomplish two things: 1) Get the fan reaction to the idea of trading for Rosen. 2) Make Bruce look like a shrewd negotiator when the trade goes through for something less. My money is on our second. Or perhaps our first with the cards sending us Rosen and the 33rd pick, but no more than that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
