Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
We could do a lot worse than Keenum on 3.5 million. As long as we draft a guy as well, this is about as good as a job as possible by the FO.

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
If he is the starter (Rosen is in play still) I would expect Case to have a decent yr, 20 tds 13 ints type season. It's who he is

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
Not me, I wanted him instead of Alex Smith. Minnesota had a pretty good OL, Diggs, Thielen and Rudolph. Our OL if we draft a young LG in the 1st two rounds we could have a dominant OL. I think Keenum would as good as he did in Minn. if not better.

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
I think w/ Keenum, he's seem more of a gunslinger and is willing to take more chances. Probably a guy that Jay will like, vs Smith who basically had to be forced to throw a ball over 10 yards by KC's coaches.

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
Case last year vs the blitz.
85 Passer rating (league avg 92) Vs Pressure = 50.5 (league avg. 67) Passer rating when kept clean = 96.7 (103) No blitz = 80.2 (92)

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
You guys maybe right about Case being just a ho hum so so QB that is not much better than colt .. but adding him to roster for basically nothing is a upgrade with potential of a great upside.. I’m not at all sold on josh Rosen .. I hope we let colt and Case battle it out .. maybe pick a qb in 3rd or 4th rnd unless we can get Rosen for 3rd .. I would never trade our #15 for a qb that the worst team in league has given up on.. there is a reason AZ wants to move on.. just saying

That being said, I do think he's average and it is going to take a lot for him or any other average QB to do something with this team next season.

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
Check Smith’s career numbers and wins vs Keenum, it’s not even a question that Smith is far better

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
Trent Dilfer sucked and he won a Superbowl. That doesn't mean he was any good. Alex Smith only passed for 4000 yards one time. He played for two great coaches on extremely talented teams. Both of those great coaches replaced him because they knew he wasn't worthy shit. Case Keenum is a average qb. I'm not saying he's a world beater. All I'm saying is that he can throw for more than 200 yards a game. That only is an upgrade from Check Down Alex.
