Good point.

Part of me still hopes we'll get Rosen. Based on pretty much nothing but the fact that it's possible and Dan is obviously in "at least we'll sell some jerseys and make some buzz" mode.

Like we have all mentioned , it doesn't matter who is the QB if this team doesn't improve the WR position. I'd also expect AZ to get less now, seeing as though everyone knows they don't want Rosen.

No wide receivers with Mr. Glass and Stone Hands at tight end. A suspect line with no depth. I could imagine all quarterbacks that aren't bottom of the barrel praying they are not traded to or drafted by the Redskins.

one could also say it doesn't matter who the WRs are if we don't improve the QB position.

Also, its quite the opposite on Rosen. Per Sheehan, multiple teams are interested, so competition will move the price up. and even if there was only one team interested, the Cards would be foolish to trade him for less than a 2nd. He's more valuable to them as a backup than the 3rd round or later compensation that was previously speculated.

I would give a 2nd or a 1st for him or I would stay put and draft Jones or Lock

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Now I am confused, I thought the Cardinals were moving on from Rosen because he didn't fit the new coach's offense. If that is the case why keep him as a back up? You want a plug & play back up that can run the offense the starter did, not one you have to alter the offense for.
