Re: Dwayne Haskins

We are due for something good, we have to be. In Haskins I Trust. Just based on the arm talent alone, he's going to be exciting to watch.

Re: Dwayne Haskins

If the competition is close start Haskins from day one. Don't bother wasting time on a journeyman like Keenum.

Re: Dwayne Haskins

How does someone get used to the speed of the game sitting on the bench?

Give em' a stop watch to clock players during live game action? Of course guys only run perfectly straight maybe a few yards at a time, so he'll really have to be on top of his game!!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...collaboration/

Dan and Bruce's steady hands are on the rudder.

They have the best interests of the team in mind. So relax.

Re: Dwayne Haskins

On ESPN this morning Dianna Russino said "Dan Snyder makes the final say and Haskins will be the starter week 1"

ESPN loves to bash the skins lol

Doug Williams said it would be a collaborative effort.

A collaborative effort involving Bruce and Dan means Bruce and Dan decide.

Idk why you consider her report bashing the skins.

It's a factual report, inline with Doug's statement and the last 20 years. (Except for Marty's brief tenure)

The way she was saying it, inclined that whatever Dan wants he gets, Jay has no say and I don't believe that

Re: Dwayne Haskins

If Haskins starts week 1 in Philly, it will be ugly.

Eight man boxes and cover zero blitzes.

Schwartz's defense will kill him.

I truly hope he doesn't get hurt.

If trent is in and healthy I like our chances of running the ball.

If Haskins plays well in the preseason, he has the arm and release to beat the 8 man box. He has the best arm on the team right now. Also, I thought Philly Defense took a pronounce step back last year...Schwartz is a baller, but he, like everyone, needs talent to win. I would love to see us get back to a more play action based scheme...they are 8 man box killers if executed.

They were decimated at ILB last year.

Just a prediction.

Please, repost and rub it in if I'm wrong. If be happy to be wrong.

Re: Dwayne Haskins

Haskins was 100% Snyder’s pick and some still think Gruden or anyone else will make the call as to who starts?? LOL

Yeah, but this isn't how a functioning team works. It really should be left to Jay bc he has made tough QB decisions when he sat RG3 and started Cousins. While Jay has earned my ire over the scheme, playcalling, etc...I do have faith he can honestly put the best QB who is ready behind center. If Haskins is clearly flailing in the preseason, then Snyder really needs to sit down. No one wants to see a rookie who is clearly overwhelmed get crushed when we have Vet options available and whose roles have been determined already as placeholder.
