Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7

I want to trade back with AZ just to have Mr Irrelevant back to back years.

Edit: or just let the clock run out on our pick.

Wondering the same thing.

I'll be interested to see which undrafted free agents we reach out to. Would we go after a Gerald Willis that way?

I would hope we draft him with our next pick. He was projected as a second round pick. His past issues at UF are well behind him and teams have all known about them for years. Crazy. He is absolutely starting material at some point in his career and would be a great rotational guy on the DL year one!

Did we just trade our final pick?

edit: No, I'm just losing my mind. I saw MIN in front of AZ.

What about Brett Rypien for our final pick? I'm just a sentimental old fool.

I can't believe he hasn't been drafted. The kid from Penn State is a shitty passer and he got drafted by Baltimore The Ravens basically have 3 read option QB's that suck at passing.

Rypien is signing with the Broncos as a FA.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7

My only problem I see with the draft...No Love for the RB in the forth. He struggled and then had a season ending injury. I think they were better options at RB at the spot as well as safety, tackle, and TE.

Not getting a TE is straight up negligent by Bruce. Our Run game will be stagnant without better blocking at TE

I was thinking the same thing.

Hopefully they like Flanagan and/or Holtz.

Does anyone recall which one of the two Cooley raved about toward the end of last season?

I remember him commenting that one of the two of them had blocked better than any TE on the team since Logan Paulsen.

I agree though. Really uneasy going into the season with the current TE group.

We are fine with TE’s.
