Tell that to the millions of the self employed who lost their insurance. If I had a qualified policy under Obama Care my premium would be $1980 per month for a family of 3, and our deductible would be $6000 per Person. Yes, that is a $6000 ded. per person. So if you do the math, $1980 x 12=$23,760 add on an $18,000 ded. and we would be paying $41,760 before receiving any real befits from Obama Care. This is what hit all small business owners.

..................simply not true I had. have a policy and pay 490 a month for the family.

That's great for you and your family. I would say it is likely more of the exception than the norm, unless you are in government. My company- a commercial small business - has raised deductibles/premiums along the lines of Back2Rfk's post, same with my brother in law's company in a different industry.

The price varies greatly depending on which plan you choose and which company is offering it on the exchange.
