Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread
Too early to say Keenum sucks...I hope he plays great and we bring Haskins along a little slow and not throw him to the wolves! Keenum has played and won against NFL defense.. Haskins has like 14 starts in college ball . Great Raw talent with huge ceiling !

He got drafted into, arguably, the worst offensive line in the NFL. With an aging Fitzgerald and a group of unknowns to throw too. And he is in the NFC West. Ill eat my words if you are right. But honestly, I fear for his safety. |

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread
McCoy kept out for precautionary reasons:
https://www.nbcsports.com/washington...ionary-reasons No limp or any indication of anything serious. Think he'll be fine. My issue with him is him throwing downfield. Realize he can dink and dunk and keep things decent, but what can he do when defenses crowd the line? Can't wait to see all the qbs in the preseason. |

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread
Haskins wasn't a sure thing at that point. Smith definitely wasn't coming back anytime soon and McCoy was coming off a serious injury himself. The team had to upgrade the qb position immediately anyway they could. They get a guy who took his team to the NFC championship game the year prior in a dream trade. We can argue Keenum all day long. But, at least give the guy a fair chance. We aren't even to the 1st preseason game yet.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread
I would have just signed someone if it came down to that. Maybe I am thinking too little of Case but I really equate him to that of a 3rd string QB, excluding the one year he had the best WR duo in football

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread
Yes but they had to move out of the 6th round. Not a huge deal but not worth it IMO. Who knows, that pick could end up being a high 6th rounder. Keenum was going to get released. Why sacrifice draft position for a journeymen QB who was going to get cut? Yes that would have possibly brought in competition for his services but who would we be competing against? Maybe the Cards? Just another worthless, stupid trade by Allen. He simply doesn't know who to make trades in the least bit.
