Of course you're correct in pointing out the futility of starting Doctson but what has Davis done to deserve that spot? He caught a TD when wide open because of a blown assignment in the first preseason game. That's it. McLaurin should claim a starting role when Doctson fails and is either benched or cut (or has a boo-boo) or when Richardson is broken in half by a DB. JG says McLaurin is learning all three positions, so he should become a key reserve. I think Cam Simms is a very exciting player who should get more playing time as the season goes on and he continues to improve his craft. |

I'd add Harmon and I feel pretty good about Davis making it too.
