Re: Around the NFL Week 1

Mike Pettine Def Coordinator and the Packer Defense was easily the most impressive thing about last night...

Remember, the Skins Front office chose Manusky over him.

Let’s see what Manusky does this year.

Rather have a compost heap than Manusky.

Agree. I was impressed too. Curious how much of that was a good D and how was because Chicago's offense looked like a German shit show.

I thought they did a good job containing Mitch to keep him in the pocket and not let him make plays outside of it.

Also, Tarik Cohen is their gadget type player...they didn't let him leak too much into space.

But this is how you beat the Bears:

Total Team Rushing Stats:

CARRIES: 15

YDS: 46

AVG 3.1

TD 0

LONG 8 yards

Game over folks when you stop the run versus a team with a limited passer. Defense is easy when you do that.

Yeah, I knew the Packers D would be better, just not that much better. Or i wouldn't have started David Montgomery this week. Ouch.

I was expecting more from the rookie because of all the preseason hype. But I really liked him coming out of college
