That being said, I'll take a 2nd at this point. I'd rather have a 2nd then drag this out further. If we get any kind of 1st round pick, I'll be happy.

You have to trust the genius of Bruce Allen. It was probably done that way to force teams to think fast, make impulsive offers and over pay. Totally winning off the field and keeping up the damn good culture. They kept as many paychecks away from TW while maximizing his value, win, win for Redskins. That will teach any future players that pulling a mutiny will cost them dearly. Finished 1-6 last year, started 1-7 this year. That is damn good consistency.
