EDIT: Trent needs to pass a physical and that was the hangup

WTF
I'm not sure how to react to that.. The situation with Williams is just a terrible mess that gets worse over time. Williams had a chance to get off from Redskins team and yet he didn't embrace it? Williams is in great shape, according to his agent, so I don't understand why Williams didn't take or pass the physical test.

Going back to last year Trent has been getting horrible guidance from his agent. He's lost out on a lot of money and his reputation has taken a big hit too.

Amen, Brother! A good agent could have made all the difference for Trent.

Source: Regarding LT Trent Williams: There's "an opportunity to have something done shortly." I'm told there's been "some really good constructive conversations" and there is "hope to get it done soon." My understanding is, it's a positive situation & the process is ongoing.

Yeah he's gone

Would love to see Seattle send that end of first round draft (no27) pick for Trent. Seattle wont have a chance at the top 4 Tackles.

I hope we get pick #41 from Cleveland, at least. We could make good use of a high second round pick.

Interesting note on the Trent Williams situation: The #Redskins have closed the window for Williams and his agent Vince Taylor to work our a trade, sources tell me and
@RapSheet
. Teams often want full control of these situations heading into the draft and that’s the case here.

It could mean that no team offered us what we want, so we're holding on to him.

Re: Trent Williams ends season-long holdout, rejoins Redskins

But that team would only do so knowing they had a new contest agreement in place, right? Otherwise if a team did trade for him without have an agreement they would be taking an added risk and thus give less value to offset the risk.

I imagine we hopefully have 1-3 offers, for like a 3rd or 4th, and we can chose which one of the less than ideal offers to take.

Just move him, RR wasn’t able to bring him back into the fold, there was never a new offer ... just move him imo.

Unfortunate but sometimes sports turns into a soap opera. Not the first time, not the last time this will happen.
