WOW. This is shocking. It must mean we're bringing in someone from the outside or that theyre promoting Kyle over him and the two couldn't get along in that scenario.

There has to be something we're not hearing, Schaffer has built a reputation as the financial wizard that has kept the Redskins out of cap hell since Snyder started.

Maybe he was thinking he was in line for a promotion and Rivera didn't want him running the FO. Not sure but this is unexpected.

A lot of decade + employees being shown the door. If its part of a culture change sometimes you have to take out the deep roots. We do need to see some transperency soon on what the organization chart is.
