Yup it's why I said it was a rumor. The Bengals need a QB put are tight with money . I could see them rolling the dice with another QB ..............Fromm , Tua etc.It's a QB heavy draft.

I am not sure what being tight with money has to do with passing on the supposed best qb in the draft. In fact being tight with money means they would want the rookie deal and top passer.

And if they did let it be known that they were trading the pick, there are a few qb hungry teams, notably Miami, with a ton of draft picks to make a more enticing deal then what Gettleman would be able or willing to offer.
