I like the logic of signing Hooper or Henry if available and drafting a blocking TE from a run based college, on the basis you get a blocking TE who might turn into a good receiver.

Curious though, we don't see many projects like Gates any more; trying out non-football athletes. Are NFL teams abandoning that kind of thing now?
