Great defense combined with strong running game is a good recipe in the playoffs. Tennessee got farther than anyone expected with that plan. It really holds true in the playoffs when you have to play in cold, windy, snowy places like New England, Chicago, New York, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, etc. Even DC can get some bad weather in January. But smash mouth on both sides of the ball is always preferable. |
