Maybe he does deserve another shot because if he was let go because of the fumbled and dropped passes then he was truly the scape-goat. I seriously doubt Brunell or Portis will be let go, biggest fumblers on the team.

I alway's liked the kid, but he can be tackled by a blade of grass, perhaps we should have him hold the ball like Tiki maybe that will help his fumbling problems. If he ever stopped fumbling and got stronger in the legs he could be a real find, but he has a long way to go before that happens.

Comparing the fumbles of a receiver who gets five to ten touches a game to a starting tailback(20-30 touches) and a quarterback(50-70 touches) is apples and oranges.

And I'm not buying the scapegoat angle, because he was cut after a win. Besides, our god-like coach would never turn a player into a scapegoat. Drops and fumbles = "useless" if you're a wide receiver. Who cares if you're fast and run good routes if you can't hold onto the ball?

Fumbles are fumbles, and it matters less who fumbles or what position, or what the circumstances. They cause you to loose games, and that's the bottom line.
