Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
It's not looking good for anything folks. We're 5 months in and how much progress have we made towards getting back to pre-virus numbers?

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
For 3 million guaranteed/6 possible. We couldn't have signed him for that?

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
The Kansas City Chiefs and defensive tackle Chris Jones have reached agreement on a four-year contract, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
According to the sources, the $80 million contract includes: $37 million, due at signing $60 million, guaranteed for injury $5 million in incentives, making the value of the contract up to $85 million https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...al-sources-say 37M due up front? Thats structured similar to Albert Haynesworth. Why not take the money, play a year then force your way out and into a new contract. I mean, youd have to be a total POS like Albert but the opportunity seems there.

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
More Eagles news...
https://www.inquirer.com/health/coro...ard-1858508521 Fans won’t be allowed at Eagles games in the fall Asked about Eagles and other pro games, Health Commissioner Thomas Farley said the protocols for the major sports leagues “look pretty good” but having spectators would not be safe. ”I do think that games can be played with the kind of safety precautions that they’re proposing. I do not think that they can have spectators at those games. There’s no way for them to be safe having a crowd there,” Farley said. “I can’t say what the plans are for the league, but from a safety perspective, they can play games but not [have] crowds.” “The Eagles are still going to be allowed to play, although without crowds. The Phillies will continue to be allowed to play, although without crowds,” Managing Director Brian Abernathy said. Abernathy said NFL guidelines also “remind teams that local authorities have the ability to ban fans, so I don’t expect any issues.” “We have been in communication with the Eagles. We have told them our expectations are that they don’t have fans,” Albernathy said. Private events at indoor venues aren’t prohibited, but under the city’s current guidelines, any events of 25 or more people indoors are not permitted. All theaters are still closed under health orders.

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL
If the nfl can play with scab players during the strike season .. ( we won the super bowl that year) the league can definitely play without fans in the stands ...
