Re: Coronavirus (non political)
Residents can still go out for essential needs as long as they are practicing social distancing and "common sense," the governor said.
Services including gas stations, pharmacies, grocery stores, farmer markets, and restaurants (providing only takeout and delivery options) as well as banks and laundromats will remain open, the governor's office said. "Essential state and local government functions will also remain open, including law enforcement and offices that provide government programs and services," the office said. Dine-in restaurants, bars, nightclubs, entertainment venues, gyms and fitness studios and convention centers will be closed. Public events and gatherings are also not allowed, the office said. https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/19/healt...ion/index.html ^^ explains CA "stay at home" order vs "shelter in place" etc.. I imagine Maryland is close to declaring a "stay at home" order. Under a stay at home order, I could still go to work as I would be "essential" for my company. Under a shelter in place I dont think i would as I wouldnt be medical, EMS etc

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
I helped quite a few elderly friends and family get and stay connected back in the dial up days. It was a tough row to hoe trying to get them away from AOL when better options became available. I would almost consider AOL as malware as they tried to make it very difficult to uninstall their software. A couple times I had to reformat hard drives to install new ISP software. Most new ISP software would not function until every last AOL file was gone.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
Even if they do a stay at home order people will still be allowed to go to the grocery store. That sounds like a facebook rumor.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
I fully understand how serious this is so pleas don't get me wrong but what other symptoms does this virus have that a flu virus doesn't ,not being a jerk I really don't know. Yes I know senors are high risk but they are to the flu all so . 25,000 die from the flu in the US this year 20,000 have died World wide from this .You can test positive but not be sick .What is different with this virus from any others we have ever been faced with? Again not being a smart ass.
