Re: Coronavirus (non political)
So a web site I was wondering through yesterday made a interesting suggestion . Regions around the world have played parts in things like this before meaning one type of person or people living in certain areas might be more susceptible to certain germs and such or others might be less likely to develop certain diseases or issues . They were pointing out how this has hit Italians so hard in Italy and then pointed out the Italian family in NJ who lost four family members and then the large number in NY. No facts mind you but it was interesting .

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
I mean that definitely makes the most sense. Still seems so outta whack with the numbers for other major metro areas. My thought is also that JFK is so a major thoroughfare for European air travel, that maybe it should have been closed even sooner, or that more cases came from Europe and NY took the brunt of that storm.

Don't need them. There is nowhere to go. Unless you want to go wander around Target for a few hours.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
Lovely, this is an over the top police state. I can see checkpoints all over the place asking you where you are going. I got a ticket a year ago for expired inspection sticker, they are big on pulling people over for that. Trying to see if I could quickly pay it I go to the county site and started browsing. I ended up looking for myself on the court docket. I noticed the cop who wrote my ticket was all over it and a few other names constantly popped up.
On estimation looking at the court calendar this guy and a couple others were writing 20-30 tickets a day. The ridiculous part is many tickets often had 4-5 violations on them, seems like they threw the book at people. I had family that were cops, they would usually just write the person for the most serious offense and warn them on others. Not these clowns. One guy got an illegal right turn against a red light, cracked windshield, no brake light, expired inspection sticker added to an improperly fastened child car seat. Probably the best thing to do if pulled over now is the start coughing and wheezing. |

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
Good morning everyone.
No MD "stay at home" order. Gov Hogan is not happy people went to the Cherry Blossoms and now I see this... Governor Larry Hogan @GovLarryHogan · 6m Today at 11 a.m., I will announce additional measures to slow the spread of #COVID19 in Maryland. This announcement will be streamed live here on Twitter, as well as on Facebook (@GovLarryHogan ) and Youtube (Governor Larry Hogan). ---------------------- toilet paper - starting to run out. Im going to just steal some from my office building but they have them locked in the dispensers so I think I will just have to pull them out and feed it onto a used paper towel roll or something. I have now limited myself to just 9 squares a dump (3x3). works well. Never knew I had it so good.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
I think some people just don't care. So I needed some charcoal from Lowes as my gas grill finally died. So I had a plan to go directly to the charcoal grab a bag and to go through the outdoor lawn and garden section to pay. Pulling into Lowes I noticed the parking lot was pretty full. So I get out wipe down the cart handle twice and I noticed others just grabbing a cart without wiping it down. So I go in and notice how people are in there just casually shopping and browsing around like nothing was going on. I was keeping my distance and had to wait on a few people as they causally browsed through the store. After about a minute I just got the hell out. I was pretty stunned how people were acting and not giving a crap.
