Question for the Cap experts on this site:, if the Panthers $13 million cap number in 2020 for Turner is broken down to $8.5 million in base salary and $3.9 Millions in prorated bonus, how much of that goes to the new team? The entire thing ro just the base salary? Cause $8.5 Million is not terrible for 27 year old five time probowler, $13 million is too much.

I think you have to look at how much would you offer Flowers at a resigning and if a couple million more per to get Turner....then you get Turner. I am sure Schneed will have the exact details but I think the new team would only have to cover the salary not the bonuses.... . So it would be a good contract for a pro bowler in their prime, but because of that they will want a good haul of draft picks in return..... which the Redskins dont have. They likely wont take players as a swap because this trade tells us that they are in rebuild mode. But someone like Seattle, New England or Philapdelphia will be at the head of the queue
