He only just had one of the greatest, if not the greatest season in college football history.

No biggie.

If you were Cincy would you want to pass on the next potential Aaron Rodgers?

I'm surprised no one is talking about Carolina trading up to try and get Burrow to pair him back with his LSU passing coordinator. Maybe they don't have the resources to do so...but if I were a fan, that is what I'd be hoping for vs. hoping Cam is "healthy"

Doesn't always translate to the NFL but time will tell.

Still you got admit every year its two great QBs coming out hype and then fizzle.

Lamar and Patrick are probably the two best in the last five years to come out neither was part of this pre-draft circle jerk hype machine before each of their respective drafts.

Maybe I am old now but the NFL on so many levels is just wash rinse repeat year and year out. I actually enjoy amateur sports now more.

No doubt the draft is a crapshoot but right now Burrow is the clear #1 QB prospect and it’s well deserved coming off the season he had

What was so impressive is his wins against extremely quality opponents and defenses. Also, he played in an NFL style offense.

This is the schedule he dominated:

@Texas
Florida
Auburn
@Alabama - rewatch that game. my god the poise.
Georgia
neutral field Oklahoma
neutral field Clemson

Who didn't he play in college football this year?

What is true about Tua this past season...everytime he played...everytime...the announcers always talked about how much he hobbled around the field...always talking about how injured Tua was. The writing is on the wall...completely negligent to take him at 2

Two ankle and one hip surgery already, even with the evolving rules protecting QBs I doubt his body holds up long in the NFL. Even on a young guy those injuries start adding up.

I was day dreaming for a few days about drafting Tau; now seeing all the injury stuff, PASS.

Just get Young and be done.

Cincy has been known to surprise in past drafts so in my mind I keep going back to "What if the Bengals draft Chase Young #1"? The resulting bidding for our #2 pick could get so outrageous that I can't imagine what we might be able to get for it. So, I just tell myself "Nah, that won't happen" and put it out of mind.

If Tua was the top QB prospect I'd say them taking Young wouldn't be all that crazy. But passing on Burrow would be insane. They have to take him.

Exactly right. Statistically 1.6% of college players are good enough make it to the NFL. I cannot imagine when bigger/faster/stronger NFL defensive players start taking aim at Tua as compared to college player . Every player that goes from College to pros always says the physical toll as the biggest change. More games.

And yet he still had 33 td's and only 3 ints, 71% completion hobbling around... lol. But I'm you on Tua. I don't think the Skins should take him but they still have to think about it. They still have to do their due diligence.
