Who Should We Have Drafted?

We could have picked him with our 4th pick, but we used that on Manuel White. As some of you may recall, White got injured and placed on IR. What is even more upsetting about that pick is he saw little to no playing time in the preseason. While that isn't a good sign, it's a little early to say it was a bad pick.

We would have had our 2nd & 3rd and next year's 1st, if we hadn't wasted all on a QB! DE has been a need for 10 years.

Actually, we traded last year's 3rd and 4th rounders plus next year's 1st rounder. Our 2nd round pick went to New Orleans for the 3rd rounder we got in 2003 to draft Chris Cooley (we didn't have the 3rd rounder in 2003 because we traded it for Mark Brunell).

I doubt we would have been able to draft a starting DE with a 3rd or 4th rounder. At best, we would have gotten a good situational pass-rusher.

Plus, who knows, maybe Campbell will turn out to be a stud. It's very early to be judging the wisdom of trading all those picks for Campbell. We haven't even seen him play a single down in the regular season.
