Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread

What do you think we could get for Jonathan Allen on draft day? I would possibly think about trading him. Payne and MI are my two starting tackles, Sweat and Young at the ends. Where does Allen fit in?

Not saying we do it, but I would think about it if we could get back a 1st rounder. Or if we could get back a quality starter.

No way a 1st, he hasn't done anything to warrant that.. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd and I like your idea, why not move him if we have a suitor?

Because he is a very good player, a team leader, and we need to rotate our DL to keep them fresh. When we get Chase Young, then we can rotate Kerrigan, Young, and Sweat at DE and rotate Ioannidis, Allen, Payne, and Settle at DT. Not to mention that injuries are a reality and need to be planned for.

Why is it when we finally are about to get to the point where we have excellent depth in a group, that some of you want to trade it away?

p.s. Also because the thought of our DL, as described above, is about to give me a chubby.

A lot of people seem to forget that. I wonder if somewhere someone has calculated how much more physically taxing it is to play DL compared to OL?
