Professors, Journalists Call Out Fox News’ Coronavirus Misinformation In Scathing Letter


Dozens of professors and teachers of journalism and communications have signed a scathing open letter calling out Fox News’ coverage of the coronavirus crisis, describing it as “a danger to public health.”

Some 77 academics and journalists had signed the letter as of Thursday morning, accusing the widely watched conservative network of contributing “to the spread of a grave pandemic.”

I’m not the defender of Fox News but to tout such bullshit gimmick as a signed letter after the cnn, nbc, cbs, msnbc and other lesser trash internet sites have for three years produced a multiple false reports, inaccurate, biased, report about Russian collusion, muller report, Brett Kavenaugh false accusations, Steele dossier and an impeachment which was rejected...it’s simply a reach. These media outlets lied to the American people about these stories daily. No outrage?

I wish all the coverage was better about Wuhan virus...fox especially. But to say dangerous is horseshit.

But I can screenshot 50+ headlines after trump issued the China restrictions in late January in which he was called xenophobic, racist, as well as told to worry more about the flu than the virus from the media. Is that coverage accurate? Where was the fake fucking outrage?
