I expect a jump forward but how much of a jump forward depends on how much of an off-season we get.

His confidence will be much better than at the beginning of last season. So that's a plus.

But we have a new system to learn. And he has new targets to gel with.

So ... it wouldn't shock me to see him start slowly again. But show consistent improvement as the season progresses. It may fall in nicely to Rivera's pattern of having very good Decembers.

I'm bullish on the season, because I think Haskins will improve, and our Defense will be shockingly effective.

I wish he would have said how much time he will be putting in cleaning up that sloppy footwork and throwing motion.
