Re: Why Hasn't Anyone Talked About-A Possible Cancellation?
I know how awful this virus can be, having lost two family members to it. It really sucks.
But ... At the end of the day, aren't we talking about a virus where over 40% of the US deaths occurred in nursing home/long term care facilities which make up 0.6% of our population? And where people under the age 30 are more at risk from dying from the regular flu than from COVID? I mean Tom Hanks is 62 or 63, has Type II Diabetes, and he recovered nicely. I just am a little baffled that so many people are so deathly afraid of this virus that they'd choose isolation to avoid getting it. |
