It had to be a bargain. Pats available cap was small but cam has the ability to make up that money in a bigger deal if he can vibe with a winning established structure aRound him. Cam injury status is a mystery Too. It’s a win win

Id say win-win-win.

Pats add a vet Qb to an unknown QB situation
Cam gets to prove he can stay healthy and produce for a big contract next year
Fans get to see Cam and BB, just adds more interest and excitement
