That said, wolves definitely have more separation from NA culture than arrows or warriors.

I can't wait till training camp so this discussion can take a back seat. But I also wish they would just announce the decision and be done with it...

Anything with red in it will likely be avoided considering we've already tiptoed away from warriors. I'm just tired of all this (hyper) sensitivity. I was just kidding about avoiding wolves due to it being tied to NA's but I'm sure someone out there will have their panties in a bunch over it.

Perfect match to what? The colors, maybe, the city? No So many other opportunities to rep the city better than an animal that is not indigenous. With all the history in that city there are far better options.

Cleveland naming the team the Guardians is a name that was off the radar for them. The Spiders and Blues has been thrown around for the last year and they picked a name off the radar, my hope is that is what happens here.
