Come up with a new name for the Redskins

I swear if they are the Washington monuments or senators im done. Lol. What does Redwings have to do with Detroit? Nothing. Iconic though. |

Spiders had historical significance and would have been a better choice. The "Guardians" fonts even look like they're from 1980s Indians uniforms. I have a significant amount of Cherokee; just a few generations back was a pure Cherokee woman, my great grandmother. I have some say in this...and neither Redskins or ESPECIALLY NOT Indians are offensive...I took pride in having my favorite football team honor my heritage. Last year, I bought a "LONG LIVE CHEIF WAHOO" t-shirt in protest when the liberals canceled him.   The Guardians logo is atrocious. I am sure I have said this before, but Wolves are natural enemies to Eagles, Cowboys and Giants. The images of opposing qbs pounced on by a pack of wolves is an amazing marketing image. A running back avoiding tackles easily transfers to the image of a wolf evading an enemy. So many stunning images.
Guardians brings up Guardians of the galaxy, Sentinels has some merit, but wolves hit every key concept of a football team on the field. |
