Dude it was a joke...much like all of this "your pancake syrup is racist!" crap.

Unfortunately, our football team has been turned into a political issue. Keeping the politics out of this discussion is impossible and the fans aren't at fault here.

Exactly. The politics are fine when it’s kneeling for an anthem. It’s not ok to point out the hypocrisy, fake narratives and faux outrage. This whole movement to change the name is based on a lie. I don’t care how Snyder ran the business, it would not have mattered

Act like an adult who is capable of having an adult discussion, which includes self restraint to closely stick to the discussion at hand, knowing that political discussions can quickly unravel in rabble rousing if we begin to engage in "whataboutism" and the many many other political detours that often plague political threads on the internet.

We all should be more consciously aware and self-limiting when wading these waters.

Unfortunately he's right. As much as I don't want politics in my football, it's in this right here. If George Floyd wasn't murdered, the Redskins are still the Redskins today and the foreseeable future.
