Because why are the offended more important than the Native Americans that take pride in the name? The ones who are happy to be represented on the national stage? Some people are going to be offended at everything and anything, I mean there is at least one person out there in the world that is offended by the name Texas Rangers. Being offended has all the power in this country now. If you have more than 10% of people on the side of being offended, then the other 80% - 90% can go fuck themselves. Being offended has all the power.

Yeah SD but you gotta be able to determine if it is something that is genuinely hurtful. Most people do not claim hurt feelings because of some other reason. Lol. They are genuinely troubled. Of that 90 percent that seemingly doesn’t care - probably 60 percent is just silent. It doesn’t mean that they don’t care. Usually the 30 percent that are the ones waving their flag are the ones that have an agenda driven by money or their own interests that in their minds outweigh someone’s feelings. I just do not buy into the mentality that “10” percent of a group of people do not matter, and honestly what is the harm of changing names, statues, or shit like that? Nobody’s civil liberties are being stripped. Quite the contrary- everyones civil liberties are being looked out for.
