Leg injuries usually heal, but weaken the leg. 53 yards is anything but easy or the norm (ask Nate Kaeding, as he missed 2 from 40+). wind or no wind, i don't think he got all of it, and if he did, then it's time we get a long FG/kickoff specialist.

I wouldn't call 50+ the rule, I'd still call it the exception. There are only 8 (of 38 who've attempted at least 1 FG this year) kickers that have 4 or more attempts from 50+, and only 2 that have made 4 or more. Neil Rackers is having an out of his mind season. There are plenty of guys that have the leg, but the accuracy starts to wain considerably after 40 yards.

Racbach had a holding call or 2 earlier in the game (which I don't recall hearing his number called too many times this season), and I think the refs were specially looking at him. There is holding on every single down...
