Kinda dumb to say and he comes off only thinking about himself, lots of sentences starting with 'I". If he is personally against masks, thats cool, just wear one when indoors at public places so it doesnt become a "we" problem.

Just comes off selfish. And that's been a big problem of this pandemic. Too many people don't see the big picture and don't care about anyone other than themselves. Sure Kirk, you may be just fine. But it's the people you could spread it to that's the problem.

In the same interview, he says he wears a mask out of respect for others. That part wasnt included in the tweet summary. Thats all anyone is asking, wear one in public.
