CRed - really happy to hear you and your son are doing well. Weve missed you around here. Great news

Re: Fans at Fed Ex
My worthless 2 cents ... and I’ll keep it on topic re just fans at games
I’d go to a limited capacity game. Youre outside. My only concern would be getting in bc that’s a log jam and bathrooms but with limited capacity you could figure that out

Re: Fans at Fed Ex
There was just 15,000 at the Chiefs/Texans opener... to think people are afraid to go out is just silly. How many attended Sturgis? Like over 360,000 or something

Re: Fans at Fed Ex
Hogan is now allowing restaurants in MD to 75% capacity. If you can go to inside restaurants then how come you can't go to Fed Ex where you can spread people out? This makes no sense to me.

Re: Fans at Fed Ex
I really think, as has been said earlier, it is a blessing in disguise that the WFT didnt have fans in the stands, DEFINITELY for the Eagles game, and for the early part of the season at least. Let the team start fresh next season. New name, New hope.

Fred Smith can go fuck himself. How can a man so successful, smart and powerful be such a soft ass bitch? He bent over for the mob like the pussy that he is.

Re: Fans at Fed Ex
I really think we are going to see a lot of companies drop Fed Ex...this is like a pressure cooker building up. People are beginning to push back against all of the "cancel culture" that is into everything now...

Re: Fans at Fed Ex
The NFL ratings are down because they have gone from being a Sunday only sport, to Monday night, Saturday games, three games on Sunday and a Thursday game. Sure the TOTAL PERCENTAGE of the NFL is down but the amount of TOTAL MINUTES of tv coverage is WAY, Way Up!
25 years ago, people had not even heard of the Combine - now it is covered before, during and after the 3 day event! This year’s draft was EAGERLY covered on tv and it turned out to be a personal, MOVING television event. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NFL kept this year’s format, instead of the fake, Vegas-glitz format of the previous years. Football overtook Baseball as America’s favorite sport in the 1960’s due to television. The NFL may be a little overexposed these days but it’s still going strong and will be. Re: Fans at Fed Ex
The Raiders/Saints game had big ratings. Fans are slowly coming back to the games. Jerry World had over 20,000 last weekend. The NFL is looking at giant TV deals coming down the pike.
Tell me why we should think the NFL is going away? |

Re: Fans at Fed Ex
Life is full of calculated risks. Personally, I am not willing to risk attending a football game during a pandemic.
