I don't know what is fair or unfair but he should know with his wealth of experience and reputation as a tough player's coach. By fair, I don't mean the same as others. A 1st round QB pick is going to be treated differently than a 5th round Olineman.

He has to deal with Haskins in a manner consistent with the culture he is building.

RR is also rebuilding this team, and has repeatedly stated this publicly. He has already said there is a point where he'll move on from Haskin, but 3 games into the season is not that point If I were to guess, this point will be the bye week.
