Re: What do you want to see in our next QB?
He's good, isn't as accurate as Z Wilson but Lance can make plays with his feet similar to a Russell Wilson.

We should draft him.

Re: What do you want to see in our next QB?
Fields will be gone unless we draft #2
Time to start looking at Wilson and Lance

Re: What do you want to see in our next QB?
I get the case of Murray and Burrow, but why be set on needing a high pick for a great QB? Tua, Allen, Herbert and of course Mahomes all went at #5 or lower recently. Its all about the talent identification and scouting, if we have a good handle on that we could get a starter, if not franchise QB, anywhere in the top 10. And we're pretty much nailed on to have a top 10 pick barring a miracle.

How about one that can actually play the position.

Until I hear more/better sources I'm taking this tweet with a grain of salt, but it's worth sharing.

Short and mobile or 6'6" with a cannon.
I don't care as long as Kyle Smith, instead of Dan, is the person making the decision.

Play Haskins - if he does well and we want to move on it will increase his trade value. Smith is not the future and no way are we taking the division,,,

I agree. Bring Haskins in to finish out the season. There are three possible outcomes: 1. He surprises everyone, lights his hair on fire and PLAYS GREAT - proving that he can be our future franchise QB. 2. He plays both good and bad, which means he will be traded in the off-season, but for MORE WE than we will get NOW. 3. He sucks and we get about what we will get right now for a trade - a fifth round draft pick or worse. Playing Alex Smith MIGHT win us an extra game or two, but he is not our future and I doubt he will even stay here next year as a backup QB, making QB #2 salary. Smith may help us develop Cam or Steve Smith further but he is not good enough to win this division. Play Haskins to make him worth more with a trade in the off-season.

I think I like Z Wilson better than Trey Lance but am good with either one. What do you think of Trask from FL?

Re: What do you want to see in our next QB?
He's really coming up as well, I'd say he could be a late 1
