There is no type of clause in there that says if we have to release him because of breaking team rules / league rules etc that we don't have to pay the whole thing?

I think that ship sailed when the team worked something out with the league to allow him to play, despite DH putting himself at risk of being exposed to COVID.

As much as I hate having his sorry ass count against the cap, I'd rather not have a distraction of the team fighting for money from his contract.
