Budlighticke was miked up against the Bucs last week. Some good footage in there. I enjoyed the use of the dolphin to bleep the curse words - sounds better than just silencing the audio.

141.3 passer rating against the #2 D.

That is crazy.

He played 1 hell of a football game. Played well last week too.

Can he pull out a MNF win next?

Dude will never be perfect, never have the skill set of the greats, always miss some easy throws, but when the game is on the line he gets er done.

Lets remind ourselves that he still hasn’t started a full season.

I think that is why the Gibson 3rd down run ticked me off. On 3rd with 2 min to go tell TH you got this and let him have a shot.

He's a romo 2.0, both smaller guys that can move around and make plays in clutch situations.. Romo had the better accuracy but Taylor is the better runner. He's at least showing us that we don't have to reach at QB in the draft

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke

At this point Heineke had shown he is a better prospect than any QB that will be in the 2022 draft. It's a weak class and none of the 2022 prospects would normally go in the 1st round and now it is apparent the Redskins don't need to reach for one.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke

Makes me laugh when people are so quick to judge on a small sample size. It's clear from his physical talents he's capable of being a good #2 but he won't be a long term starter anywhere. However, to judge whether he's worth keeping around long term as a fixture @ #2 lets give him more than a little over 1/2 a season to show what he can do shall we?

I have zero issue with him being our number 2 guy but I wouldn't go crossing off QB as one of the Redskins needs right now.

I think he is good enough that we can stop bringing in aging Vet QBs to be the answer ..I’m all in for drafting a QB but please enough of the endless carousel of What we have done in past .

Are you all in for reaching for a QB in the 1st (because any QB taken in the 1st will be a reach)? Lets put it this way if Haskins, or Lock were coming out in 2022 They'd be ranked higher than any of the 2022 QB prospects.

How would you address that need in 2022? The draft is weak and using a 1st round pick would be a risk and bad risk at that. Rodgers? I can see that but that would be an all in move to win now. The downside of that trade would be expense and if it failed would wreck the team yet again for a few years - but unlike the draft would be a fairly good risk.
