![]() They're not young and I wouldn't do it even then because of the number of picks PLUS 2 players. Too much. Let some other team demolish their next 2 drafts.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Houston is trying to make up for all of O'Brien's fuck ups in one deal. Which ... is a tall ass order.

It's too bad O'Brien isn't still around. We could probably get Watson for Ade Jimoh.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
My thing is, Watson will lift the Offense up a ton.. Sweat is great but it's much easier finding an Edge rusher than Franchise QB.
I think if they offered that and Houston took it, we'd all be happy

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Oh man, that would be tough. Right on the fence. The picks are fine, 1 of those would basically be Watson himself, because we'd still get a player this year. But giving up Sweat makes me squeamish. If we did that, we would need to re-sign Kerrigan.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Long term we're not going to be able to pay Sweat and CY. Just like not we're not going to be able to pay both Allen and Payne. Not too early to start thinking of them as assets to move in possible trades.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Watson is an ELITE QB, He would instantly come in and be the best QB we've had in 30 years... maybe ever. He's 25 and makes everyone around him better. His character is amazing from what players and coaches have said. Dabo Sweeney said "He's the MJ of college football" when he had him at Clemson.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Seahawks were able to pay Kam, Earl, and Sherman for a while. I think we can pay both Sweat and Young but we will see. No way we can keep everyone though
