Football Team will wait them out for sure. No need to make that trade. I would trade for Darnold though. I will confess I don't know much about him other than when he tore up the Redskins in 2019. I was listening the Sheehan and he said alot of "football people" what ever that means, I am assuming scouts, personnel and GMs, are high on Darnold.

There are rumors that the Jets will keep him and build around him, possibly trading out of #2 also. Adam S. Mentioned it on Get up today

That's what they should do if they believe Darnold is salvageable. They currently have six of the top 100 picks, and could turn that into at least 8, plus picks next year.

WFT has 8 total picks this year - imagine having 8 just in the top 100...plus 3 more.

Using our team name in conversation just sounds/reads so funny.

It is but I enjoy it. Whenever I am at one my kids sporting events and I hear another parent shout "come on team lets go!" I like to think man there are a lot of Washington fans here.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021

Apparently there's two situations where Alex Smith (and his camp) felt slighted which led to Alex's comments.

1. Rivera saying that if Washington had a healthy Kyle Allen, they likely would have been in the same position as they were with Smith. (which is probably very true)

2. The fact that he did not start in Washington's playoff game. (Really?)

Gimme a break Alex.

He was awful in most of his games, he is done. Arm is weak and he can’t move at all anymore. Dude has 1 leg

I really hope he retires. He is a shell of himself. One good hit on that leg and it would get messy... hope his wife convinces him to retire

Why do I keep see campaigning for Cam? The dude is D.O.N.E. He can’t push the ball down the field and isn’t accurate.

2020 stats:

Deep ball attempts - 31st
Accuracy rating - 32nd
True QB rating - 30th
Total QBR - 30th

Everyone wants to just keep throwing out well known FA QBs and act like they will be legit just because of a change of scenery. A lot of these guys are FAs for a reason. #camno

Why? Cam didn't make anywhere near that in 2020, and he had a bad year. His base salary was $1.05M, and with the incentives he earned, his 2020 total salary was $3.706M. No reason on earth to offer him ten million.
