Asked about Cam Newton, Ron Rivera says he cant talk about it bc free agency hasnt started.

It literally means he can’t talk about it. They can start negotiating with free agents next week I believe. Before that anything he says is a rules violation.

We're not even in the legal tampering period so yeah, he's smart to not say anything about it.

Can the 1st 18 teams just kindly pass on Trey Lance? Thanks in advance.

Not usually a fan of trading up, but I wouldn't be against it this year. Last time it worked pretty well getting Sweat. We need to get our QB.

Kirk had his flaws ... but id love Kirk on this team. of course that means we probably wouldnt have drafted CY and omg why am I going down this hole ..

Kirk was the best QB we have had since Joe T.

Stop with the nonsense that he sucked, the GB game was another example. He also just had a hell of a season in MIN without Diggs.. Taylor played great but it was 1 game in a situation where he could take risks because nobody knew who he was. He will most likely not beat out Mariota / Teddy B / Cam (don't kill me Matty) or whoever we draft.

Let’s be real. Kirk’s M.O. is the same now as it has been his entire career. He puts up good numbers in quarters 1-3 but has a bad case of the 4th quarter Tony Romos in big spots. He’s the type of player that will get you most of the way there but won’t finish for you. No one likes that.

I look forward to part2 the bottom 6. There are some issues I have with the analysis. The author references the low draft capital used by the teams at QB but if you have stability at the QB position you are going to have lower draft capital over a longer period toward that position.

I would like them to tell us what the average overall for the 32 teams in draft capital as well as the average number of QBs drafted.

My guess is the bottom spend a significantly larger chunk.
